Profile: Margot Latz

What do you like to do in your free time?
Reading, swimming, going out into nature, meeting friends and city trips.

Have you always wanted to work with children?
Yes, that has always been my wish. But then everything did not go as planned. I worked as a commercial employee for many years until the opportunity arose in 2005 to switch to child day care.

What do you like most about working with the little ones?
It is an unbelievably beautiful and exciting task to accompany toddlers in their development. It is important to me to offer the children a stable, protected framework in which they feel safe and secure during the time they are "entrusted" to me.

How did you find your way into our Owl's Nest?
I was found, so to speak. As I had already looked after children of the Blöcher family a few years ago, I was asked if I would be interested in continuing my work in the Owl's Nest. It was the right decision!

Where did you look after children before you came to us?
I looked after children for 12 years as a self-employed childminder in a rented flat in Dillenburg.
